Mum has said that she only has time to update my blog once in a while now she is back at work, so I think the updates will be monthly with anything mega exciting added as and when! (like the quiz night that mum is holding in aid of the Glasgow Vet Hospital - it is the 25th September in Dundee.
So July, ok well July is nearly over let me see what has been happening! Well I have started accupuncture. I go to Parkside animal hospital for that the vet said she would do 3 sesions and see how it had effected me if at all. The 1st session there wasn't really much of a difference at all, I found it really odd, all these needles being stuck in me. Well when I say ALL I mean 6 needles! The vet said she was looking for some sort of reaction eg a muscle twitch, as if that happens then it is usual that the dog will have a response to treatment. Anyway when she put the needles in either side of the bit of my back where my disc was removed I twitched.
After my 2nd treatment session I was able to run much better see here. (scroll down to the video of me running after my accupuncture)
I have been trying to get up on the furniture much more and mum and dad shout at me a lot
They say its for my own good but I mean how can lying on a hard floor be doing my back any good whatso ever!! So I just wait till they go out and get up on the furniture then. I don't try the bed though as it is too high, and mum has put a big duvet onm the floor at the window so I can just lie in the sun while mum is out working.
I went with mum and dad to Callendar Highland Games at the weekend, and I got to meet some of mums friends from the computer forum Dogsey. I met Hali with her dogs Tip amd stumpy and also Skilaki and Belle and Moobli with Yogi. It was a great day out and was very sunny. Mum entered me into my 1st ever show and I got 6th place in the Best Crossbreed there were about 14 dogs so I think I did quite well. Mum also decided to show off how well behaved I am by trying the Kennel Club Good Citizen Schene so I did my Bronze Test and passed I got a lovely rosette and a wee certificate. Mum was very chuffed as she said after all I have been through it was great I could do the test. Butto be honest it was walking to heel, walking past dogs and people and behaving, coming back when called waiting to go through doorways and just generally listening to what I was told. Apparently I can do the Silver and Gold too......might think about trying.
Me with my certificate and Rosette

I havn't been swimming as much which is a shame as I really like swimming but mum and dad find it hard to take me there with it being so far away but mum has 2 weeks holiday soon, and as well as going away she has promised to take me swimming.
I think thats about all my updates for just now except that the quiz night plans are well under way
