Ben the dog and his Spinal Injury

Well, we had a lovely holiday on the Island of Skye, I so wish my legs had been better so I could have run in the beach and played in the sea, I had to stay on the lead though as I try to run and jump and mum says that means I can damage my back further

The cottage had a lovely grden and it was all fenced off with a big metal gate and the 1st day we got there mum let me off the lead and I ran about daft, mum couldn't get me to come back as there were loads of new smells, I wasn't being bad just inquisitive but she got really worried as I fell over a few times.  (you can see me in the video on my video pages.

We had lots of lovely drives in the car and went to lots of new places, we also went on a boat trip which was good fun, I am getting less scared of boats now here is me on the boat

When we got off the boat we were at this lovely place called Loch Coruisk, apparently it was a great walk up to the loch, I would have loved to have gone up , and went for a swim, but mum said it was far too far for me to walk and that the ground was too rough so I just sat on the grass with mum and gran and the sun was really warm.  Mum started to worry about me getting too hot so she kept pouring water over my head and then dressed me up in this silly hat to keep me from getting sunstroke

Mum and dad went for a couple of meals out and I stayed nicely in the car which mum was very pleased with and I also stayed 1 night in the cottage.  I was very well behaved.  I really hope we can go back there when my legs work better as Igot lots of cuddles
